And remember the recent 70mm/ DTS print is a digital out, nowwhere as good as an original 1965 print.
You are in the show in Todd-AO , not with this print.
The sound was more detailed but the color timing looked better than the BD.
But some of the picture was much better than the Lawrence 4K to 70mm new version.
I saw the new 70mm version which is a 4K out to film in 2 screens in London.
Some of it was very good and some parts were not.
The best thing was is it was screened in Datasat/DTS Special Venue and it still had the directional dialogue
using the front five channels which sounded great.
A new 70mm print from an 8K scan is screening at the BFI Southbank for a 2 week run from 18th May.
This is also screening in DTS in original 6 track stereo with 5 front and 1 surround channels.
