    My daughter LOVES racoons. When staying at our aunt's place, a racoon would come around evey night and we would go out and feed it (it was very tame). I'm not sure it would be a great idea to get her a badger to cuddle, however.

    I asked a few people at lunch this same question and they also all responded that a rat was best. That makes it unanimous. Now I have to try to convince my 5 year old that she doesn't want a mouse after all. Thanks for the help so far!
