In answer to Harold Wazzu's questions: Yes. Yes. Regarding Luke & Leia's "echo:" That has been in and out of the film in its various releases and remixes for years. It didn't really hit me a horrendously wrong on this DVD. So it's not as echoy (echoey...
The lightsaber colors don't bother me at all. Couldn't care less. It's the jump-cut and the magically disappearing piece of clothing in the background in Ben's house that could easily be fixed.
I haven't heard that part yet. I'll be getting the DVDs in an hour or two and I'll check it out sometime.
During which Luke says "Ah, Lightsaber Crystals... Good to the last drop..."
"Crystal?" Can't say I've heard that one before. Never gave it much thought. Where in the films do they even say this? Anyway, I've decided it's useless to resist... I'll get this set today and spend what time I can on the extras and on the THX-1138 DVD. Happy Birthday to Me!

I actually wasn't going to get this set, and just wait for the 6-film DVD set of the whole Star Wars Saga that will come out sometime in the future. But comments like that make me want to get this DVD set just to see what trivia you guys are going so nuts over.
Sorry, I have a life. And a wife who would rather I spend that extra $100 I don't have on something else. I never signed that petition though... Thanks.
I'm in the process of editing an interview I did with composer John Corigliano, and EVERY one of his answers began with "WELL..." Rose conducts prepared yet spontaneous conversation interviews, and allows the speaking style of the subject to come out. If Lucas or Corigliano or...
It seems to me that an "ordinary person" wouldn't give it that much thought. I figured they showed glimpses of what the movies looked like when they were first released because that part of the documentary was about the movies when they were first released...
