Thanks Ron. I’ll post a few first thoughts after unboxing and setup.

I only ordered a standard 12 and not a 12 Pro but FedEx shows it should be delivered by 8PM today. I didn’t order the MagSafe puck or a 20W charger but those will surely be making their way to my house within the coming weeks.

If I upgrade, I’ll either buy the 12, 12 mini, or SE. I think the overall size of the 12 mini is roughly the same size as just the screen of my 7+. The only thing keeping me from immediately jumping on the 12 mini is touchID vs faceID during the pandemic.

FaceID doesn't make sense if I can't use it. TouchID can still be used while wearing a mask, which I do ½ - ¾ of every day. Stupid covid messing up my technologies and whatnot...

I don’t know if I’ll upgrade to a 12 or an SE2 or just keep my 7+ for another year. Lots of moving pieces this year for me.

I wanted Face ID but since I’m masked 8-16 hours a day, Touch ID is still on the table for me.
