I never cancelled my pre-order, and although I really didn't feel I needed it I decided to get it anyway (the box art is great, if nothing else). I love these films too much not to support a set like this. Not to turn it into an "I hate Amazon" thread, but what happened to them? they used to...

There is one lone review up on Amazon (I thought they didn't allow them until the item is released?) and it is a one star rant with lots of rage because it is missing the last two films, with three "helpful" reactions...so far. :rolleyes:

I like V well enough, but I never cared for VI, even though I still watch it with the others. The first four films are much better than the last two in my opinion. I probably like “The Search for Spock” way more than I should though, that one is on me.

Isn’t the reason these are only being released in a 4 volume set, is because the other films have not yet been remastered in 4K?

$71 was pretty cheap. I'll be glad when it drops again, however, I get a feeling it won't get that low again. Sometimes you just have to pull the trigger immediately.... Amazon doesn't even charge you until the item ships, so my only excuse is LAZY.

Price jump almost $40. Dammit, why didn't I pre-order yesterday?

The box art is absolutely stunning, I might just buy two copies it looks so nice. And being Paramount, the kings of 4K on disc these will most likely be amazing (Dolby Vision, and Atmos?). I really look forward to see HDR in action on these classic titles. I was wondering when Paramount was...
