What happened to the actual prizes (copies of horror movies)?
I donated a bunch of titles to be given away to winners a few years ago, but it appears the "prizes" segment was killed off.
My 'Dawn of the Dead' avatar stays forever (I think) so this years challenge the 4K will be the first movie I watch. I'm hoping to get the required amount of movies watched to be someone. Last year was a pathetic attempt for me.
As much as I love this horror film (Still the best of the series in my opinion) I equate the first ten minutes of it as basically "dead air".
It does nothing for the film, seems agonizingly long, and completely boring. Not to mention a huge stretch even by Friday the 13th Jason films. It...
I did it all wrong this year. I still have about 20 movies to post that I haven't had time to write anything about. But I'm just going to skip all that and drop out. I hate writing all about them after Halloween.
Maybe next year I find the time I need to participate more.

still holds up as a completely atmospheric, and creepy sci-horror film I'm glad to own on BD.
