Has anyone received their copy of 'The Last Man on Earth' 3D conversion?
I missed the Kickstarter for it, but would like to support the company...if it is decent!
The Kickstarter for 'Horror Express' 3D conversion is coming soon. This is great news. I love this horror film.
Plus Peter Cushing, and Christopher Lee in 3D...sounds fantastic!!!:
I honestly couldn't say Ron, but for me I had 4 pair go bad since 2015/16. And they were all the glasses that I didn't use/charge frequently (years). when I tried using them eventually, they either were not reliable or stopped working altogether. Maybe it was just the brand I was using. Too...
I think that was the case with mine. I didn't read until much later that you are supposed to charge the glasses every 4-6 months when not in use, or the batteries die. I only used one pair and let the others wither away into wasted money territory. I'm not going to let that happen with the...
In the meantime, I'm just thinking of a cheap alternative. 3,800 lumens is crazy for that price. I had no idea projectors have become this cheap. mid-range used to start a near $1K.
The 3D had better depth, and it was much brighter, and more colorful (again never an issue before as my projector destroyed my TV's 3D). It may be the glasses for my DLP projector which always worked great until they don't. Possibly the projector lamp has gone bad. I'm not sure what is going...
I just watched scenes from GOTG vol. 3 on my 65" Sony ZD9 and the 3D was definitely more impressive than my Optoma projector. Usually my Optoma blows it out of the water in 3D, so something is wrong somewhere. Either the glasses or the projector itself. I'm bummed, this is something I did not...
Here is a review of the 3D GOTG VOl. 3.

I'm going to check my gear, something doesn't add up, and I'm starting to think I'm going crazy.
I'm just trying to recoup some of the money spent on it. The "like new" price on E-Bay is around $75.
If it was great 3D I would never part with it.
I think the story in this trilogy got better, and better. Too bad the 3D dropped in quality for the last film.
Good to know.
Think I'm going to sell it on E-Bay as I will never have the desire to watch this particular title in 3D again. I'll wait for a Black Friday sale of the 4K disc. I'm really bummed about this!:(
Hmm..Yeah, I don't know. I sampled the first two early this morning just to make sure I wasn't going crazy, and the 3D on both were much better depth-wise than Vol. 3.
I checked other thoughts on the 3D in this one and people seem to love it as well.
Feel like I'm going crazy now
Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 was fantastic. Easily my favorite of the bunch.
Now, I know better than to get into a 3D argument with 3D enthusiasts (I thought Jurassic World Dominion had excellent 3D) but this one...I really wasn't feeling (or seeing) it. It could have had more 'pop', the...
My copy arrives Wednesday. I'm not sure what happened with the shipping speed of Amazon JP. It used to be eerie how fast BD arrived after I ordered them. Once I ordered a Dawn of the Dead Japanese all region BD set at noon on a Thursday, and it arrived the next day before noon. That was par...
My best friend got the BD, and told me it is the best film of the three by far (we are both huge fans of the first two). So that is very, very encouraging as our taste in films are eerily similar.
I cannot wait to see this. Apparently, it has the Imax shifting aspect ratio as well (I hope the...
The 3D helped it quite a bit. I didn't hate the film, and found some genuinely decent/funny moments throughout, along with some genuinely great 3D in spots. But as super hero movies go this wasn't near the top of my favorites, and the high cost I didn't feel justify the purchase. If Marvel 3D...
One thing I absolutely enjoyed was the OST from Christophe Beck. He did amazing work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer all those years ago, I'm glad he has high profile work through Marvel now. he has defiantly earned it. Amazing stuff.
I watched the 3D of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It was...OK. 3D was very nice (I'd never watch this one flat). It has some funny moments. But overall it was very dark film (especially in the Quantum verse) which of course hinders the 3D experience a bit. Love the new BD case which is...
I just stated that it was 'sold out' which it was as of early this morning. I didn't mean for people to panic buy the title on E-Bay, as I thought with such a big movie they would eventually (obviously) get more copies in.
I will do better next time.
Thanks. They must have restocked this morning as the was a sort of panic around town. I hope the scalpers eat their stock.
Also love the new Amazon notification for sales #'s:
For this 3D title it is:
5K+ bought in past month
