Thanks for the update on what's leaving the "While Supplies Last" titles in a day or three! I normally save the those titles for either fillers or a separate order between sales. As I had several in that sale section that *are* leaving *SOON* I moved them up in the queue. :D

It could also be an issue with cookies/data stored for the site in your browser's cache. I have that happen on several sites on occasion - things just stop working properly. Clear that site's cookies and cache data.

My Kino orders have been coming out of a warehouse in Memphis, TN - a short ~70 miles from my door. They've been arriving *very* quickly! Sometimes it feels like I just closed the "Your order's been shipped" email when UPS rings the doorbell...

I placed a smallish 3rd order last night (a smallish 2nd preceded it in spite of my resolve to place only *one* order total this time). Had the sale not been extended I might have resisted...

I just placed what I plan to be my only order this time out - 10 titles, one of which is yet another copy of a all-time-favorite: Mel Brooks' The Producers (1968). This will make the 6th copy I've purchased - 3 on DVD and now 3 on BR with each just a bit better than the prior.

I don't know about "Recently" but I *do* know I've not yet recovered... :blink:

I, too, prefer the older material - generally pre 1970 product. There are none of the post 1970 films Kino's releasing I'll be purchasing because I either don't care about them or already own a BR copy that's good enough (I don't purchase 4K/UHD at all unless it's a title I love *and* comes...

I did that primarily because I still have over a dozen unwatched titles from their last sale, where I made 2 orders. I mainly went for "Last Chance" titles this time (just in case) and added a few that I wanted that weren't on sale last time. And I still managed to miss a couple of mid-level...

Exactly... I placed a larger first order and then avoided the site to prevent placing a second smaller order. I felt quite good about myself when the sale "ended" and I'd not succumbed to temptation. Then... it's extended... so far, so good, though if a couple of now sold out titles were still...

Shows to be backordered: I'd guess they sent the rest to as not to hold it up and that one will come later - but contact them to be sure.

I purchased the Kino not long after it came out. I don't recall it looking cropped - that's not to say it isn't, just that nothing looked too tight or "off" with the image.

I was all set to place an order from this grouping when One Million Years B.C. suddenly showed a stock status of "Temporarily Out of Stock" which I found odd as I was under the impression the titles in that section don't come back in stock. Is that blurb accurate and more copies are coming for...

I add to my wishlist *every time* I place an order from Kino... and it's not always newly released titles but often older ones I somehow overlooked. At least is *seems* to be shrinking as I'll add 2 or 3 for every 5 ordered.

My first order arrived yesterday. As usual, well packaged and complete. I then placed another small order to pick up a few "leaving soon" titles I overlooked and a couple more sale items.

I placed my order within 12 hours of the sale going live and it's not yet shipped. I'm not worried and don't need it quickly as I have a huge backlog...

I currently have $192 worth (19 titles) in my cart... I'm pretty sure a few are titles I already own but didn't purchase direct from Kino so have to wait until I get home to be sure (don't have an updated database with me). I really like that Kino now lets you know if you've purchased a title...

I just put titles I want or that sound interesting in my Wish List - a quick look at that shows what's on sale or not. The biggest issue with the Wish List is the titles don't have a link to their listing so if you want to refresh your memory on one it's a bit of a pain.

It should be a link in your account info like always but has been removed from the area below the active cart. At least that's what I found looking over the revised site. IMHO it's only a marginal improvement, if at all, over the prior incarnation. Neither is all that good.

Just finished watching Kino/3D Archive's release of The Mask (1961). Like many people, I don't have 3D equipment but *do* have anaglyph glasses for such presentations (and I have a few of those). This release was a huge disappointment as the anaglyph 3D material is included *only as a bonus*...

In my previous profession I worked in broadcast TV. I can say without a doubt that is an accurate statement - for just about *any* station, especially smaller market (50+) and indie stations. Stations showing movies (old or newer) and/or TV shows in the overnight hours are likely doing it...

KINO Insider has stated a couple of times that Bing Crosby titles don't do well for them.

Doh! Exactly! Major brain fart there!! Still.. DVD sales really increased at that the start of the pandemic and held steady or increased just about every month for the next 18 months or so.

That's Q1 of 2021 - right at the start of the pandemic. When people weren't leaving home much, DVD sales went up significantly. Speculation is that it's from people who have DVD players but didn't really want to stream, or what they wanted to was just wasn't available to stream, so they broke...
