I *almost* wish I'd not cancelled last month when they forced a switch to a paperless membership. BUT - I can't remember what, if anything, "exclusive" that was on offer I still wanted. I just know there wasn't enough to warrant signing up again.
Yes - and that it's run by a 3rd party somewhat explains why it's such a crap experience and poorly designed. They probably went with the lowest bidder...
🤷♂️ Thanks! That's what happens when you just type and don't double check things... fixed!
For some reason, I *always* want to make that one a mid-50s movie...
That would be a decent package if it included the 1947 Miracle on 34th Street instead of the remake. Even if I didn't own the other 3 titles that remake would be a deal breaker for me.
Well... I'm on it somewhat regularly and would call it a sluggish kludge of a site (and it's not a bandwidth issue - at least on my end - as I've used it on a network with a 10GB pipe and it's just as sluggish as at home on 400Mbps - it's the site and how it's coded). It's apparently designed...
Unless something's changed, once you've placed the order you're normally taken to a new page where you immediately select those bonus titles from a "short list" which are then attached to that join order. You may need/want to call a "cast member" to be sure and make sure you get those two titles.
I'm still "old school" and get a paper packet announcing each FT in addition to an email. As soon as that packet arrives in the mail I log on and decline.
I'd be happy if they'd just re-release some of the Treasures line - especially Davy Crockett, Elfego Baca and the Swamp Fox, and The Complete Goofy - on DVD or upgrade them all to BR like they did with Dr. Syn.
I'd even purchase Zorro again (for the 3rd time - I purchased the colorized DVDs...
I usually cycle accounts - but only every couple or three years as there's typically not much from Disney I want (it was a few select classic BR that got me back in this time). I normally leave accounts open a few months "just in case" but rarely take advantage of any additional offers...
With pre-order purchase of Rise of Skywalker (which arrived yesterday) I fulfilled my obligation with a per title average of $7.64. I *did* count the 3 Santa Clause movies as individual titles even though I purchased the 3-pack. Even not doing that it was generally a bargain for what I got...
Same here but I believe that's normal based on a 4 week cycle for Featured Selections. I declined Robin Hood around the first of the month (I check the site a couple of times per week and decline as soon as I see one appear - always a week or so before the mailing arrives).
I took a look at my redemption history (it's on the site and goes back to when you joined) to see what redemptions are worth.
DVDs earned 100 points each
BRs earned 150 points each
Mickey's Christmas BR double-feature earned 250
I was thinking I had a few lower tier DVDs that earned only 50-75...
Disney Rewards is for any Disney title which includes those codes no matter where they were purchased. They have a catalog of items you can get with those points - merchandise, posters, DVD/BR (although a rather limited selection), "Gift Cards" for use at Disney Stores, coupons for concessions...

Promo code 47253 still works. It's a "Get 5 for $1" with a couple of bonus titles, if desired, and a reduction in the purchase commitment. Although I didn't see where to add those 2 during a trial checkout (I stopped at the CC information bit) and I...
I have the DVD of that one - got it via the club as a enrollment years ago. It's still available that way. They really need to upgrade it to BR and do a re-release.
See post #453 above... The Finding Dory blanket code still works, gets you 5 selections upon joining and you have the option to purchase your 1st selection for $11.95 to reduce your commitment to only 2 selections later. A much better deal than the default you mentioned. I think it's a good...
I wish I'd seen this thread earlier - I have a few tips for those of you who haven't yet joined.
First: Do *NOT* join the BR club!
Use the code 10042D to join the DVD club. (Notice the only difference is "D" instead of "B" at the end of the code - it's still a "7/2" code)
No, I'm not crazy -...
