    Mark, Hmmm, that sounds a bit odd. My 950 swaps formats like it was going out of style:) when in auto detect mode. So what your saying is that if you played a CD in stereo mode, then put in a DTS DVD, it stays in stereo mode? What inputs are you using? I don't know if I missed that info...

    Mark, I have a similiar problem as I use my DVD player as a CD transport. I just change the mode manually using the sound mode buttons on my remote if I don't like the auto detect selection. So if you last left the CD in DTS mode, the auto detect will over ride when playing a CD and kick it...
