Thank you very much for purchasing the disc. We're quite proud of it.
That shot is certainly one of the highlights and always gets a big response from an audience!
You're very welcome.
We made sure to describe issues in the liner notes that could not be fixed, such as the 18 seconds of flat footage in the HANNAH LEE trailer.
Please take a moment to nominate the 3-D Film Archive restorations of these historically significant films for the National Film Registry. We have digital masters and want to output the files to 35mm polyester film stock for long-term preservation.

Possibly!
Besides, when someone like Dr. Brian May says that 3-D RARITIES is "brilliant" in front of several hundred stereophiles, that sort of negates a 2-star review from someone converting it to color anaglyph with a "3-D Video Wizard."
6 "critical" layman reviews out of 64 is a pretty good average. And a quick glance reveals their mindset.
I'm pleased to say that all of the professional reviews - including the esteemed Robert A. Harris - have been overwhelmingly positive.
You can read them on the main page of our website...
I had the honor of presenting 3-D RARITIES on July 23 at the National Stereoscopic Association 3D-Con in Salt Lake City, Utah. Brian May sat in the front row and during the post-screening Q&A, Dr. May had great praise for both the show and our 3-D restoration work. We spoke afterward about our...

"This is a work of cinematic art, resurrected as a reminder that James Cameron and his Avatar was not the original pinnacle of 3D."

I have no problem with a negative review that offers some kind of constructive criticism, but this one is ridiculous.
Apparently, he is watching 3-D RARITIES converted to anaglyphic with a "3-D Video Wizard."
If you don't mind, can you please take a moment to vote/respond to the one-star...
We will certainly try to do that. We would have with Rarities but ran out of time and had to get to the next project.
I know I've mentioned this before but it's worth repeating. If you could please take a moment and leave us a review/rating on Amazon, that would be terrific. (Even if you...
Wonderful, I'm so glad that you enjoyed it!
What's your favorite film in the set?
Can you please take a moment and leave a review/rating on Amazon? Thanks!
There are poor quality dupes out there that were stolen from me in the late 1990's when I trusted the wrong person but they pale in comparison to this new 4K restoration.
