Bold part:
if he hadn’t been shot, they probably wouldn’t have said to him.
At the very beginning of the movie he seemed to be in his prime.
I don’t know how much time went by since he returned after the attack on MI6, but it should be a couple of months at least.
with all the rest you said I...
I saw it yesterday.
Actually I didn’t even noticed the long running time.
I liked the movie, more than Spectre and QoS, about even with Skyfall.
Casino Royale is one of my favourites of all the Bond films.
Well, I live in Germany, but Leonberg is even for me a bit far off.
But if they’re showing the movie in 3D only (like with Dune) I wouldn’t be interested anyway.
I’m going on the upcoming Thursday, when it opens here in Germany.
And the week later I go with my Dad, brother and sister. Has been a while since we all went to the movies altogether. Probably in the 80’s …
Thanks, so it’s just a week apart.
Dune starts several weeks earlier in Germany than in the US.
both is unusual, but we live in unusual circumstances. Doubt that this will be the new standard
When is Bond starting in the US anyway?
As I said or wrote, I mistook it with Dune.
But in general you’re right, it would be better if at least these big movies have a start date at the same week.
Yesterday I bought a ticket for opening day on 9/30.
Obviously it’s getting an earlier start date than in the US. Interesting.
edit
Sorry, I mistook it with Dune. That’s starting way earlier here, in two days to be precise.
But I bought tickets for both movies nonetheless ;)
I didn’t had problems with The Irishman (no artificial intermission) and that runs even longer.
With movies that long and no break in between I usually avoid drinking too much before the screening and only sips during the show just to wet my mouth.
Well, I guess they’ll take what they can now.
And probably will have an exclusive run on Amazon prime before it’ll come out on physical media.
I will definitely see it in the theatre, hopefully with my father.
I’m not a subscriber to Apple + and even Bond wouldn’t change that. Same goes for Disney +.
There are some sorts of movies that belong into the theatres. And Bond is one of them.
I’d rather wait another year. The question is can they wait that long?
I will watch it with my dad, as we (alongside with my brother) did this since Moonraker came out.
We had a break after Roger Moore had his last 007-film and continued the tradition when Daniel Craig began his 007 career.
Thanks for the clip with Dame Shirley Bassey. It made me goosebumps hearing this great voice!
Now I want her singing the theme song more than ever. Please not again a squeaky rabbit like the last time.
