I did a Steven Soderbergh night yesterday
a maybe underrated flick from 1999: The Limey
and my favourite movie by Soderbergh: Out Of Sight
and it’s one of my favourite movies in general :emoji_heartpulse:
Yesterday I continued my Tarantino retrospective with JACKIE BROWN. That was my 8th run on this wonderful film.
I even considered to watch OUT OF SIDE back to back but it was too late. I will do that tomorrow. Right before the upcoming NBA-playoff game on Sunday.
Since last week I watch LILYHAMMER on Netflix.
And between that some episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" and "Der Tatortreiniger", a German show about a crime scene cleaner.
Yesterday for breakfast I watched CHINESE BOX on DVD.
A beautiful film. I had tears in my eyes at the final scene(s).
In the evening I watched the bonus features from the UK Blu-ray of My Darling Clementine.
No film tonight. My poker game is on schedule.
Sunday I watched two 70's french films with Romy Schneider*. On DVD, 'cause there are no proper Blu-ray's of neither film.
Yesterday I had my Poker game, tonight is football (soccer that is), maybe before that I will watch the third DVD with Romy**.

Le trio infernal and L'important c'est...
Yesterday I watched "Imagine: John Lennon" on DVD, and that was the problem, it was the European DVD therefor it has the PAL speed-up.
Usually it doesn't bother me much with films (although I'm glad the Blu-ray don't have this speed-up issue, at least most of the time), but with a film that is...
Watched the first two of five movies of the last week received Murnau box-set by Eureka! (Early Murnau: Five Films, 1921-1925):
- Schloss Vogelöd (1921)
- Phantom (1922)
Both look very good, I am anxious to watch the other three films.
Last Sunday I had a British film evening: Nowhere Boy / Shallow Grave / Trainspotting. All three first timers.
Today again I had a British film evening: Trainspotting (again) and Sexy Beast. Gosh, I love Ben Kingsley's performance. :D
Friday: The Proposition [US-BD] & Betty Blue (37°2 le matin) [German BD, Theatrical Cut]
Saturday: After being with my friends I watched: Tennis US Open Ladies Final (Angie, yeah! :D)
Sunday: Betty Blue (37°2 le matin) [German BD, Director's Cut]
Just finished Ben-Hur from 1925.
But yesterday I was at the Metropolis Kino here in Hamburg for VARIETÉ (1925) accompanied by two musicians (Ulrich Kodjo Wendt (accordion), Hans-Christoph Hartmann (saxophone)).
Far better than the German Blu-ray with the Tiger Lillies score.
No time for movies for almost two weeks, football (soccer) Euro 2016 is on. :)
Maybe one episode of a series between two games (mostly three per day = 15h, 18h & 21h).
