I called Kino today. And confirmed that indeed they have the disc available for purchase. However they forgot to "Pre-Order" in the listing. They confirmed that indeed this title will not be released until February 2021. The 9th I think.
Can't help but think convergence isn't strictly from the disc. I've read of viewers issues with convergence on a few discs that I also own. But I didn't have the issues when watching on my Viewsonic projector. I do recall in various posts that there were some particular brands of HDTV 3Ds that...
On their web site in the top Black Friday banner when you click on more information they basically tell you you're gonna get it when you get it. Could be over a month or more.
Anybody else notice that Kino Lorber has available for immediate purchase, the 1956 3D western classic,
Wings of The Hawk. I was under the impression that it wasn't going to be released until Feb 2021. But the listing makes no mention of a pre-order, so they must be shipping. Interesting note...
Amazon is taking preorders for the 1953 film, The Wings of The Hawk, 3D blu-ray to be released by Kino, February 9th, '21. Haven't seen it, but the trailer looks like a lot of fun. Pop-outs galore.
That's interesting Josh. If everybody doesn't already know, The Mad Magician has been available for awhile from Lime Wood Media via Power House Films in the UK with a region free blu disc for only $21.00 buck US plus shipping.
I see. Yet with all the effort and time invested in the restoration and marketing (the hard part already done) you'd think there would have been a clause in an agreement should the run be successful, there would be an option for more.
Maybe somebody can clear something up for me: I can't understand why the remastered golden age 3D blu-rays are always a limited run like, 3000 units. Vincent Price in Mad Magician is years past it's 3000, and now sells for ridiculous sums on eBay. I could understand a certain price point up till...
Which bring me back to my point. The 3D market not being what it use to and JAWS already available on 3D blu-ray, I think Vinegar would be very disappointed in sales if indeed they issued JAWS 3D, again. And as Ahollis mentioned, hard to be the price point from Amazon. But if it is JAWS, I'm...
