A week or so ago TCM did a broadcast of the documentary Going Attractions: The Definitive Story of the Movie Palace which was great and i saw your interviews in it. Happy it mentioned my childhood theater The Genesee in Waukegan, Illinois.

Love all the Cinerama films and have them on my Blu-ray shelf so i can't wait to have this one too. Very happy the film was restored.

Saw my dvr recording of the TCM broadcast last night and I would say it's the worst looking film they have at their disposal.

Noticed the movie will be broadcast on TCM tomorrow morning. The info display on Directv shows the movie in HD LB but have the funny feeling we might see the terrible looking laserdisc master again.

Saw the broadcast too and it did look like a laserdisc master. I also switched channels after 15 minutes of watching it.

While i was on Ebay i did a search on the Beatles Let It Be on laserdisc and two sellers have it for over $200!

I still have my two Pioneer players and bought many laserdiscs from Ebay years ago. I will look at how the bidding goes on it and right now it's at $15. It does say that the Japanese subtitles are "out of picture" which means at the bottom of the screen?
