I don't know why I failed to mention NBC's Dark Shadows. That show got so many things right, and was doing at least okay ratings-wise, until the Gulf War struck, and NBC just didn't know what to do with it afterwards. Definitely deserved many more episodes!

They actually haven't ruled that out, just that there are no immediate plans. I'm skeptical that it'll actually happen (especially as busy as the two leads are), but it is still possible.

Perhaps the biggie for me was Fox's PROFIT starring Adrian Pasdar. The show was devilishly dark and perhaps a bit before its time (or would've been better-suited to HBO).
