The artwork for GIANT has been updated on Amazon Prime and other streaming platforms (although not iTunes yet). Could this give us a hint of what the cover art for the 4K UHD could look like? 👀

Amazon France is showing a June 22 release date for the Giant 4K UHD!

As much as I would love Giant to be the opening night film, it makes sense. Other than Carroll Baker, there really aren't any stars of the film left who would be able to make an appearance and draw the type of press attention TCM would like to kick off the festival.

The 2022 TCM Film Festival will include a world premiere of a new restoration of Giant (1956), starring Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor, and James Dean. I know technology has advanced considerably since the now OOP 2013 Blu-ray was released, so I'm sure we're in for a treat. Here's hoping it will...
