Gary- The overlit show floor and my camera flash are not the equivalent of a typical home viewing environment. The gloss black shouldn't be a problem under normal use. Sharp's new Aquos 1080P LCD line also has a gloss black frame and I think Pioneer Elite sets do as well.

I have a final batch of pictures to post including these displays. They were stunning. They also had a projector, but no one could tell me anything about it.
