Confirmed. Saw your post and checked my disc and it was also dead. Seems like most of the affected discs are from August 2006-May 2008 but this being a 2010 release makes me nervous the affected discs are in a much wider range
Oh man! Now I need to check my disc. I have a feeling a lot more New Line Cinema discs will be added to the list as they pressed their discs at the same plant as Warner
You'll have to buy a complete series box set, as they have discs pressed at the Mexico plant instead of the Olyphant plant (The discs have a KK around the center hole instead of the 2U). I've had to do this with a number of TV seasons that have rotted/delaminated
All these issues makes me wish they would have stuck with double sided, single layered flipper discs. I used to hate flipper discs as they were more susceptible to damage, but I would rather have a flipper than delaminating layers
Yeah, pretty much ever Warner Bros. HD DVD is a rotter. Here is a link for a master list of problematic Warner DVD titles: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CyLGHyuhA2mfhPr4Bkyj8RAapl_0LTmN/edit
Season 4 of NYPD Blue has bit the dust. Released on June 20, 2006. It's a fox release but the discs are pressed in the same plant as the troublesome Warner releases.
Actually they do, Warner Bros. customer service is back up and running assisting people with replacement discs after the pandemic. See above you tube link how how to do so
I had 2 discs die that were pressed at the Cinram plant in Toronto (SID code IFPI 60**). They were The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and Gate II: Return to the Nightmare. They were Alliance Atlantis releases, the Canadian subsidiary of New Line Cinema and thus uses the same pressing...

Looks like other people are having rot issues to according to the Amazon reviews
About once a week I head to a few thrift store on my lunch break and these classic Warner Brothers box sets show up quite often (no doubt due to older relatives dying and people donating their collection of older films). Well, I usually don't even check the sets due to the rot issues (and feel...
Add another Warner box set to the list: Elvis Presley [Deluxe 2-Volume] (10-Disc Set). All 10 discs are affected
Elvis (Deluxe 2-Volume) (10-Disc Set)
Volume 1
Jailhouse Rock Remastered (50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)
This is Elvis (2-Disc Special Edition)
It Happened At The World's Fair...
I'm in the same boat. I found out about this issue about 5 months ago when I bought "Film Noir Collection Volume 4" and had issues with all the discs. Googling, I was horrified to find out about this thread and started checking all my Warner discs from August 15, 2006 and May 13, 2008. I located...
I had another one go bad. The Comedy Double Feature release of Vacation/European Vacation. It's a dual layer/double sided disc and Vacation now freezes at the layer change. Came out January 17th, 2007, right in the middle of the worst of the defects
Have one more to add to the list:
A Nightmare on Elm Street - Infinifilm Edition. 2007 New Line release that is handled by Warner (pressed in the dreaded 2U plant). I wonder how many New Line releases are affected since Warner handled their distribution on disc.
I have also read of people...
Just recently found out about these issues with Warner dual layer discs from 2008-2009. I bought the Warner box set "Film Noir Classic Collection Vol. 4" used only to find most of the discs wouldn't load and the ones that did would freeze. Doing research I discovered this thread so I started...
