I saw that the set was for sale but the question I'm asking is if anyone knows if they actually remastered those Season 2 episodes? Or if it's just a re-release of the ones from way back when that didn't look so hot.
Every episode right now is in SD even though it claims they are HD. I even tried buying them individually as opposed to the entire season and it's still in SD for both Seasons 7 and 8.
I tried emailing MPI but didn't hear back. I have emailed them in past about other unrelated issues and never...
I noticed that Season 7 and 8 aren't truly HD on Amazon Prime. I figured this warranted it's own thread in the "Streaming Services and Digital Media" section:
https://www.hometheaterforum.com/community/threads/ozzie-and-harriet-amazon-prime-no-hd-available-after-season-6.378172/
I have been watching the new Ozzie and Harriet restorations on Amazon Prime. Season's 1-5 are free.
I bought the HD versions of Season 6 and it was beautiful but then I noticed that Season 7 isn't really HD. It claims it is and I bought the HD option but it's actually standard def and is a...
Actually Lecagr is 100% correct. He shouldn't have to change anything on his DVD player or TV. These were authored incorrectly as 16x9 when they should of been authored as 4x3. Not only does this cause aspect ratio issues but it also destroys the quality. NTSC DVD's are 720x480 so when they...
A year or so ago I had a Starz subscription through Amazon Prime and was watching some Universal Westerns that have never been released before. These required a Starz subscription to be able to view.
Here are some I remember watching but there were waaay more:
Stagecoach Buckaroo (1942) Johnny...
I know of three film collectors that graciously lent their prints to projects he was working on (not this project) and he literally stole the prints. In one instance, the collector sent the prints "Bill Recipient" as instructed by Mr. Pierson and he refused to the pay the bill so FedEx came...
If you'll recall, Seasons 1 & 2 were transferred by UCLA 10 years ago so these have been done for quite some time. Has MPI made any announcement for Season 3 and beyond?
Just because something is available to watch on YouTube or Archive.org doesn't mean anything. There are tons of shows that are still under copyright on both of those sites but are not authorized by the copyright holders.
This is such a great show but there is so much waiting in between seasons that by the time it comes out I forget everything that happened in the last season. I always have to rewatch it. The recaps don't fill it all in for me.
Typical response from Sam. Super vague with no solid dates. Just another update with words that mean nothing and empty promises.
A Best Of/Greatest episodes? Are you kidding me? That's just what we need is another O&H "Best Of". It sounds to me like if he does anything at all and that's a big...
Aren't you the same guy who just said Sam's project is not dead and a release will be coming? Did he tell you this personally?
If Sam had any shred of decency he would come on here himself, update everyone on the progress and assure everyone it is indeed coming.
The only inaccuracy is I mistakenly said it was Ricky Nelson who made them available through Gaines Films when it was infact David Nelson as John Hermes pointed out. There was full runs sold at that time and I know of a collector in Las Vegas that has the entire run on 16mm.
I can use the same...
I have NEVER seen any episodes cut up with some stupid segment thing you are referring to that says "remember when this happened". They would not have hacked footage out of the original 35mm elements. I have seen others claim this as well. Who would do that? I'm sure Sam Nelson would have used...
I'm sure every episode is out there, that's just how many episodes this particular eBay seller you are referring to was able to scrounge up and put together.
Sam Nelson claimed he had every episode way back when...but then again he also claimed he was going to release the entire series but here...
All 435 episodes are public domain and yes I guarantee you that this Z Living network is running them because they are public domain and this has zero to do with Sam Nelson.
Yes I've been buying these Lost TV DVD's and I can confirm it's the original unaired pilot with opening and closing credits before it was chopped up and edited into the Love American Style episode. The color is a little funky on this one but qualitywise they are all very decent. Certain pilots...
