!wOw! Thanks, John!
So in order to see the "Film Break" should lower my screen a foot or so below the bottom of the film? Or, does the aspect ratio change before a film break?
When I watch a movie, I like it dark around the edges of the projection's aspect ratio, like in a theater. So if the projection is say more toward the middle of the screen, you'll see the white above and/or below the actual image.
I just pull the screen, fire up the flick till I determine the aspect ratio of that particular film, then adjust the screen accordingly. Most of my viewing is classic so the AR varies all the time.
Ya know...I think I may have been missing out on some cool effects. Every 3D flick I watch (any flick for that matter) I always adjust my projector and screen to fit tightly around the frame. If there's one thing I hate is the white bars above or below the screening. So when people describe the...
I wonder if the studio approached DVS, provided some cash, and got additional marketing. Studios in the past have drawn the gauntlet on even fan made tribute trailers. Curious how this came about.

Wow! Is 2024 making its way to being the best year yet for restored Classic 3D releases? Seriously. I'm jacked for the future.
I never really agreed with things being hush hush all the time. But, I get it. If it's pending and may not come to fruition, no sense in stirring up a frenzy. But once...
On the "Miracle Mirror Screen", no less. All I could find out about that screen was that it was sprayed with aluminum.
I wonder what the percent of reflectivity was on those, and if they're still in use today.
Bob: I do hope that some day you might consider opening up a new thread on Jerry. Not so much about news, movies or releases (per-say). Certainly that would be welcome and exciting. But maybe, just random thoughts. Recollections. One-offs as the thought passes. No expectations. Just a place to...
There is not a single golden or silver era 3D restoration I'm not utterly giddy about. But for me, I'm thinking, Money From Home just might be the pinnacle of my desires. It was my dad who turned me on to Martin & Lewis. Anytime they were on TV, we'd watch. Many times we'd be in the den...
Might I add that until there is a proper remaster of The French Line in 3D, I will proudly continue to own and watch (what appears to be a VHS doop) on DVD in mind-numbing anaglyph that I got from a notorious bootleg site back in the 2000s. Some Jane in 3D is better than no Jane in 3D. I have...
