I should add: The unit does not respond to the remote. I know there's nothing wrong with the remote. it works with my other unit. The screen shows an error sign (triangle with an exclamation point). And sometimes there's no signal to the tv received at all.

My 960 went into diagnostic mode. I found the service manual, that list how the mode is entered. But the service manual does not list how to exit this mode. I'm sure it's something simple but I've tried different combination of buttons (method or entering mode) but nothing has worked. Any help...
