Thanks for your reply. I too have updated my player to a Sony and got them to play just fine. Pristine picture and sound. Only wish that there was an option to play the American chessboard intro on all the episodes oh well maybe someday in the future when they rerelease them again lol.

I just received my uk set (7disks) but they DO NOT play on my region free player I’ve been using for over ten years. Can’t figure out why these won’t play when all of my other uk disks play beautifully!! Does anyone know how to remedy this? Otherwise I’m like everyone else awaiting the USA...
