"Red River Sally
lived in an alley,
in a room above the general store,
whore-dee-whore,
Giving joy without end
ev'ry day without fail,
hers was a fascinatin' tail."
I would choose Nicholas Clay over Simon MacCorkindale -- not only because I think he's better-looking, but because he was kind and generous enough to spend several scenes in that tight, revealing black Speedo. YUMMY!!!
By the way, I would also like to see a Blu-ray release of another...
He also did the Hello, Dolly! movie poster and the cover illustrations for Bette Midler's first two albums, The Divine Miss M. and the self-titled Bette Midler. Both classic albums.
That's ridiculous!!!
I have the whole thing on a VHS tape somewhere, but the idea of cutting such an historical duet for the DVD, which is for posterity, is outrageous!!!
Suppose the Judy-Barbra duets had been cut for the DVD?!?!?
>>Just so you are aware, the duet between Bette and Cher has been edited on the DVD. The 7+ minutes of song has been cut down to just a little over 2 minutes.<<
You mean their famous "Trashy Ladies" medley?
Then why isn't BETTE MIDLER listed amongst the guest stars??? As one of the world's most beloved entertainers, one would think they would be smart enough to use BETTE MIDLER as a selling point!
I remember a '70s British sitcom called From A Bird's-Eye View about a group of airline stewardesses that was shown on TV here. Does anyone else remember it?
The 2008 remake is worth sitting through if only for the wonderful cameo appearance by the one and only Divine Miss M.
As for Bad Education -- is it the Pedro Almodovar film starring the very yummy Gael Garcia Bernal?
The Dark Mirror was one of my favorites, as well as The Heiress and two she did with her good friend Bette Davis, In This Our Life and Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte. She was also terrific in Lady in A Cage.
At the risk of saying something inappropriate, there are a number of male movie stars I find attractive, but only two that I've had dreams about -- Patrick Swayze and Dennis Quaid. So Mr. Swayze has a special place in my heart.
