Never seen this classic, so I bought the movie on iTunes yesterday.
Enjoyed it very much, especially the chemistry/banter between William Powell and Myrna Loy.
Unfortunately I was mistaken in thinking it would use the WAC restoration, but it isn't.
The print used on iTunes is full of damage...
From what I can find it was monaural, but could be wrong (the Criterion Blu-ray is monaural).
Considering 2.0 audio tracks, if we're talking about dual-mono or stereo music, then by all means listen through the front left and right speakers.
However, when talking about 2.0 Dolby/Ultra Stereo...

Watched the 4K stream on iTunes on my OLED a few days ago late at night and could hardly believe what I was witnessing. I thought the Blu-ray was good looking when it came out and probably couldn't be bested, but was I ever so wrong! Watching TMF in 4K DV...
The Blu-ray of Copacabana looks fine. Detail is good, with a nice enough layer of grain.
Contrast, black levels and greyscale looked also good to me.
No obvious signs of digital tinkering to my eyes, just a fair bit of specks dotting the image as it's worst offender.

Watched KL's release of TBC yesterday. Had never seen the movie before and thought it was marvelous. The story kept me interested the whole running time, the cinematography was beautiful and loved the soundtrack/score. The acting was great allround, but Burl Ives brought something really special...
