I've watched loa twice now and I'm still slack jawed. So very stunning. I watched once on my projector, 158", and again on my Samsung Q9, 65".

Brightening is but one of many issues with this disc, shameful.

Got it this morning, watched this afternoon. What a beauty, lovely disc.

Don't know why folks had any issues with these discs. I played all 4 discs on my bedroom player (oppo 203) and my ht player(205) and I didn't have a single issue, and fw is current. They all look beautiful, although I'd rate Spectre beyond that, somewhere in the "Stunning" category.

Great film, and the uhd looks marvelous on my screen.

These great films do look a little rough, but I'm beyond happy to have then on blu. They don't look too awful projected; I've seen better; and worse. I don't have the dvds to compare, but I'd imagine there's gotta be at least some improvement.

One little part of the review confused me; "Was the first film to employ three strip Technicolor, as made famous by the Wizard of Oz". Kind of sounds to me like Wizard of Oz used it first then, yeah?

I was really surprised by the LFE output. Deeeeep. It added a real heaviness, i think, to the soundtrack that made it a little weird to me, like just... slightly too modern. Otherwise though, wow!

Well, I was hoping for at least N×NW on its 60th this year. That one also at least has a good master. Maybe next year with Psycho. Universal really needs to overhaul their Hitchcock masters though. Most are horrendous.

Just finished another screening of this wonderful picture, gets me every single time. Stunning! I'll note that I watched the Japanese Sony 2- disc mastered in 4K series set. I still think Mr. Spielberg said it best: " Lawrence of Arabia is a miracle".

Watched this today for the first time since upgrading my HT and it's a beauty alright. I indeed thought I was watching a new print. The HDR is pretty impressive as well, especially on such a large screen.
