What exactly is HDR premium? My Samsung ku6500 is only capable of that type of hdr. My research has led me to believe that it has only a marginal improvement over standard dynamic range, but I'm curious if anyone has done more extensive research or tests.

I recently bought all the ice ages on bluray, but my reciever doesn't recognize it's dts hd ma tracks, it only plays dts. It's not a problem with the reciever because it plays all other movies dts hd ma just fine. Had anyone else had this issue?

My Onkyo HT-R393 won't play the dtsHD ma track on all of the ice age blurays, just regular dts. But it works fine with all other movies. Does anyone have an explanation for this?
