The center will be more important once you are ready for a 5.1. In a traditional 2.1 the center channel isn't used.I would jump on that Dayton sub if I were you though. You're hard pressed to find something of that quality for the price it's at now. Also if you're dead set on going the CL route...
Of the units mentioned, the Onkyo seems to be the better value in terms of price per feature. You can always purchase your BA speakers later. And if you're dead set on the BA speakers, I'd spend the extra money and get the speakers you want and the Denon E400 receiver which in my opinion is a...
In the end, my patience won out. I was able to get a BIC H-100II subwoofer from an older couple for $50. I just had to drive out 25 miles each way to get it.http://www.bicamerica.com/showpage.php?brand=1&type=8&spkrID=126 12" Driver24Hz - 200Hz (+/- 3dB ) Frequency Response90dB Sensitivity150...
Is the TV Plasma? I know my TV shows that when I have the receiver on but the unit for the input is off. It this day is on my TV for hours when I fall asleep and forget to turn the receiver off, but it's never burned in
It's total opposite when I get stuff delivered. They leave it outside no matter what, luckily I have nice neighbors who bring whatever it i is nside for me
I may end up getting the Dayton sub myself at this price point, it's a good value. I've been running 5.0 for the past few weeks since the DV64s get as low as they do. I've been battling with figuring out which sub to get between the Dayton, the F12, the PL200, or the PB1000. I may just Dayton...
If you set the AVR for CTRL HDMI, she can control a good amount of the AVR functions with the TV remote. My girlfriend isn't big on remotes either and we do a lot of Netflix via the PS4. She presses the PS button in the PS4 controller and it turns on the AVR and the TV. from there she used the...
I saw shipping was free so it was more like a $75 difference, but you are right about the F12 having the better amp and 90dB sensitivity. I wasn't able to find a sensitivity or peak output for the Dayton at all actually. I think I'll buy an F12 myself tomorrow actually.
It's funny cause I was originally going to put the F12 and I only didn't because the Dayton price is so low. It was more when I was putting together my system. And people keep saying it's a tossup between the two. Why do you say the BIC over the Dayton Tony?
Yeah, Accessories4Less is a great site when it comes to service and product.
Getting back on topic, with keeping in your speaker budget, if you want to go with a sub right off, the Dayton Audio SUB-1200 is a great option right off, especially if you want to go with the BIC DV62si bookshelves...
I wasn't very impressed with the Samsung OLED TV, but the LG one looks really good. There's also a great Sony 4K TV, but with the lack of content, I don't see the point.
