YENTL is one gorgeous movie. I remember seeing it way back in 1983, in Vancouver's (B.C.) Stanley Theatre. I was with a couple of friends and we all had a wonderful time - except for one lady friend who could only say: well, I liked Fiddler on the Roof better.
I for one was very impressed with...

So, who'll be the only artist in (American) music history who will have a #1 album in six (!!) decades - 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and the current decade?
Of course, there's always a very slight chance Chris Brown will be in first place next week, but I don't think so.

Apparently the movie ends differently than the book does. No idea how, as I don't want to know beforehand, and obviously so far there are no details.

There are a handful of authors I collect faithfully: King, Dan Simmons, Robert McCammon, Stephen Donaldson, George R.R. Martin are my favorites. I also collect the SubPress limited editions of Steven Erikson's Malazan series.
Many (most!) collectors don't read their limited editions, but I do.

Thanks, Jacob.
I've been reading King since 1975 (ouch!), and since I bought my first signed/limited edition in 1984 I call myself a collector. And not only of King books.

I am the proud owner of a 60" Pioneer (plasma) Europe /Kuro (PDK-TS35A). It has been professionally calibrated and I am extremely happy with the gorgeous picture.
The only thing I'm no longer satisfied with is the size. Since I've seen screens of around 100" I just know one day Iwon't be able...
That's amazing news. I do hope we find out in time which particular screening they'll attend.
Problem is, I'm from the Netherlands, have a steady job and can only hop over to the UK in the weekends...

Thank you, Simone, that was an awesome read!
(Can't wait to travel to the UK this fall to attend the re-release of 2001.)

I know the didn't ask me, but I'm #1!
Just kidding.... :)
Still an intriguing question.
As some may know, I collect Stephen King (amongst others) limited editions, and the lower the number of the book, the more it seems to be valued by many fellow collectors. A # 3, for instance, will...
Hope this works:
(Yes, it did)
I'll post some Dark Tower stuff later...
