i can only imagine what 4K + HDR could bring - although 1080p feels more than adequate if i'm honest.
yes, i have the choice to not buy this film. i do understand that. and trust me, i won't be.
although we all have to live with the reality that we have to pay this kind of money for a 10+ year old transfer for some of these films, i don't think it's unreasonable to expect a technical competent...

the blu-ray may not be a header turner, but it's going to beat Very Horrible Smudging by quite a wide margin.

i have the DVD and it's abysmal. and that's the most positive thing i can say about it.
must be sourced from laserdisc. maybe one that's been dropped on the floor a few times.
