After watching the opening scene of “Kiss the Blood off My Hands” on the Criterion channel, the great cinematography of Russel Metty prompted me to order the Kino disc. So glad I did. Excellent commentary by Jeremy Arnold - someone new to me. Hope to hear more by him. Well done Kino!
Also a DVDPEDIA user. The only thing I use Windows for is Harmony software. Perhaps I should add Profiler, but I use Pedia so often that I can’t imagine booting into Windows that often.

Yes long time coming indeed. And I’m not sure why as I think this restoration is well over two years old now. In the US this version streamed for a while when the HBO max service first launched with a ton of classic films. I was lucky enough to catch it. It looked magnificent.
I agree that the music track is very distorted. It is a shame with such great music. I wouldn't know where the distortion got introduced, but I doubt it's due to any cranked up speed. You're correct that it is sharp, but only by 13 cents - well within pitch tolerance for the time.
Thank you!! I just checked and you are absolutely correct. As iTunes is the only other 4k version, and as it became available more or less the same time as the Kino 4K, I assumed this was the same transfer, but it is not. The iTunes is the old MGM, just in 4K instead of HD.
