Update, I bought a Logitech Harmony 650 universal remote that solved everything for me. The Logitech database had the Parasound AVC2500 in it and the remote controls the processor, tv, cable box and DVD. Highly recommended for anyone needing a similar solution..Thanks.

Hi Sam, Yes, I do plan to buy one of the new Oppo bluray players, but my Aragon amp just blew a power supply capacitor in the right channel which will be $300-400 to repair. So, maybe in the near future. Thanks, Tim
