So it's down to this.... I have multiple wireless devices, including another Samsung smart tv as well as an ipad and several phones which all connect wirelessly to the router. Now I find that the tv in question WILL connect to the internet w/an Ethernet/LAN cable, yesterday it would not (I swear...
So I've been using the same internet service, router, and Samsung TV for several years w/no trouble. Last nite the TV (and I own 2 Samsung smarts) wouldn't connect to the wireless router. I've called my internet service provider and they/we have tried everything we could to get it to connect but...
How do you delete channels on this tv? I'm not trying to make a favorites list, just get rid of a few unwanted channels that the TV recognizes. I can pull up the channel list (button) but how can I delete from this list?
Ok, so no need to distinguish between PC/laptop/ TV as far as the actual adapter is concerned?
Is this perhaps a good one?

Is there a need to distinguish between bluetooth adapters for TV versus something else? (like just audio, or for a computer/laptop?)
I ask as I'm thinking of buying several of these...
So will this remote work w/ my receiver? The original is lost.

I'm starting here and I you mods need to move me, let me know where I went! :)
Anyway, I have a UN55ES6150 and want to "easily" watch/use with my wireless connection with the TV. I've already set up the wireless connection but have no way to use my laptop or a keyboard with the tv. I get a...
Ok.... so from an old post of mine (same probs really) I've asked this question before:
http://www.hometheaterforum.com/topic/321103-bass-module-sony-str-dh520-compatibility-question/
and you schan gave me a good answer (much thanks!). But now I remember what happend as it's happened...
I have a Samsung Smart TV... and leave the sound off (it echos if you don't) and have it hooked up to a Sony STR-DH520. Now here to fore, I had old Bose Acoustimass speakers wired to this reciever along with a big matching Bose bass module to witch all three sets of speaker wires ran to first...
Now I see you've already responded to that question.... if not audio, is it a "put it next to the dumpster" problem? I have no idea what it costs to have a service tech. look at a tv much less repair it.
I've asked my mom (standing here in the office; not at home) and she says "yes".
However I'm wondering if she knows for sure.
Having said that; let's go with "yes" the problem persists when in mute... so what would that mean?
thanks for the response!
So I bought this tv at least 5 or 6 years ago and just upgraded to a Samsung SMART.... so I gave it to my parents. They are in their late 70's and not too tech savy. It worked fine for me and for them as well for about a month or so, then it developed this problem; after it's been on for say 15...
Great! what would you recommend? And; would you get a good sub woofer like the supercube III or Klipsch?, ditching the Bose stuff (bass module included) altogether?
Steve, that is indeed how I've set it up. But none the less, I still have minimal bass response. So if I got a supercube III, what would that improve? anything?
Ok... what-do-I-do...... to turn "off" the sub woffer even though there is none attached? I mean I get the concept/idea, I just can't find how to go about doing it. I have the manual, and I've looked it over again several times and can't find a reference to that function/choice. What page is it...
Thanks schan... I'm truly ignorant of modern tuners. So yes, that's how I've got it wired, but I've looked in my manual and can't find what AVR is or means... what is it? how do I find it on my tuner?
I bought a new Sony STR DH-520. I wired the speakers as per the instructions, then ran them throught an old Bose Acoustimas bass module And I have virtually NO bass from my module. So I'm thinking "what have I wired wrong" or... what is set wrong on the reciever? I'm pretty old school and can't...
Ok... I've gone to page 30 and followed the instructions as best I can understand. I've pushed the "amp menu" button and, the word "speaker" comes on. when I push the center button again, the word "pattern" comes up but it is dimmed. then only the down button does anything and it's first...
I have an old Bose Acoustimass 7 system (three "paired" speakers and one sub woofer) and can't seem to get it to work with my new Sony STR-DH520 reciever no matter how I wire it. The 3 paired speakers are coming in to the sub-woofer, then up to the reciever but I can't get any sound of this set...
