Unlikely a Shout Factory release would be region free, but I sent a message anyway. Included the web address of the 3d film archive so hopefully Bob et al will have a job to do in the new year. What would be the point in a flat release of this film?
Watched this earlier this evening and while I don't think I could describe it as a quality movie, the 3D was incredible. The best I have seen, with almost no crosstalk at all.One tiny problem I noticed was an outbreak of compression artifacts for about 2 seconds, at around the point where they...
For those who want their digital copy. I've checked both discs and could see no sign of any video files other than the VOBs etc.
I have unfortunately found my disc to have some authoring errors - I tried to select the 'Select Cartoon' option and my UK PS3 froze. I've had a bit of trouble...
I see the reviewer at another well known blu ray review site says that this has survived the transition from anaglyph.
Have they not read the myth section in Bob furmanek's website?
Without the excessive 'insurance' charges TT release cost around 25GBP delivered.
I have never paid the extra, and all my TT release have arrived safely. There would never be any import costs, because of Screen Archives' customs declarations.
Regarding the authoring, I got the impression that...
It's 30GBP from Amazon.com including import VAT, and 25GBP from Germany with the cheapest shipping option.
I'd be happy to pay the extra 5 quid to get an English language cover, but am hoping that a UK announcement comes soon.
I think Warner Bros have been selling it on their site for a while, so it just looks like other retailers will finally be stocking it. It is good for me in the UK as Warner Bros won't ship to the UK, and it is cheaper than the Paramount version for, I assume, an identical set.
If you set up a PS3, as well as well as supported resolutions it also detects whether you are connected to a 3DTV, so it is definitely receiving that information from the TV.
I'm normally in floods of tears at the end, so may have missed that. I had never realised how soon after her canonisation this film was made. To me she has always been St Bernadette.
You will often find the definitions are quite malleable. For example when Andy Murray lost the Wimbledon final he was Scottish. When he won the Olympic final he was most definitely British.
It wouldn't be quite the same if we all had the same opinion, would it? I thought I would have caught you out with the names above but Andy Goram is a Hun anyway, so he doesn't count.:)
