Hi, Just got the Yamaha av receiver (10 years old) for a song. Sounds great music wise. It has no HD connection, which I knew. But how do I connect it to the TV for 3:1 home theater? I have not done any HT before. Thanks.

Setup is two Energy speakers and subwoofer with a/v receiver yet to be bought. Hoping for one good Blu-ray player for CDs and DVDs but would consider separate CD and DVD players.

Unless you need a specific feature only the Oppo has, I would pass on the Oppo. I highly recommend the Panasonic Blu-ray players. Good point. I want (1) one box, not two; (2) good sound quality; and (3) wi-fi streaming. Sohould that go through the bluray or the av receiver?
