Dual subs with different series SVS?

I've had a single SB-1000 for a while now and just happened upon a SB-2000. I was planning on just swapping them out and using to 1k in my bedroom or something then thought about running both in the living room. I know ideally you want to run two identical subs, but is there still a benefit to...

Good bass in a stereo setup

I'm searching for a decent stereo speaker setup to use as a zone 2 in my garage. Would like to stay under $200 for the pair but I could be convinced to spend more if it's worth it. My biggest concern is bass out put. With it being zone 2 it will just be a stereo setup without a sub. So what are...

    TX-RZ10 or STR-DN1080

Pulled the trigger on the 7011. Added the 5 year warranty which ended up being cheaper because of a $22 discount for purchasing it. Only went $97 over budget haha. Thanks for your help

    TX-RZ10 or STR-DN1080

Well, now I see through that link that I can get a 7011 refurbished for $1,000. That seems like a damn good deal. You said a lot of people have purchased refurbs from there. Anyone report any issues? A 5-year warranty is only $150 extra so I may end up going that route. More power and lower THD...

    TX-RZ10 or STR-DN1080

Thanks for the quick response. After looking around at the models you listed I really like what the 6011 has to offer. Looks like the 6012 basically just gives you HEOS connectivity and compatibility with Alexa, which may be useful in the future. But I'm not sure it's worth the jump in price...

    TX-RZ10 or STR-DN1080

It's been a while since I've been on here but I'm finally financially able to really get a good setup going. I'm in need of a new receiver to replace my Sony STR-DH820. I have a 5.1 setup in my living room that's open to the back and mostly open on the right. Listening space is approximately...

Hello all, brand new member here

Ok, well looks like the frequency response is 55 Hz-50 kHz and the sensitivity is 86 dB/W/m for the speakers. As for the sub, I haven't been able to find any model number on it so i did a quit search of what notation it did have on it and found this: http://www.mtxaudio.ru/manuals/SW1.pdf My sub...

Hello all, brand new member here

I seem to think that I will never be satisfied as there will always be new technology that I want to get my hands on, but I am happy with how it sounds. That being said, I haven't really heard any high-end systems so i guess I am more curious about how I could make improvements on what I have...

Hello all, brand new member here

Hi, my name is Adam and I'm getting into home theaters more and more. I've always been interested in them and what everyone has and now I am financially able to have my own. My first surround sound was a HTIB from KLH when I was 16. It was a complete piece of shit to say the least. I ended up...
