Ahh I see. I have the complete Carlton DVD set as well as the R2 Year 1 30th anniversary edition, which I bought in addition purely for the improved quality and extra bonus features.

Agree, this looks very promising for more releases before the year is out. I know it's jumping the gun but I wonder if the last season color episodes will ever be released?
I must say I'm totally with you there, Gary. Although, I think it's always encouraging that other not-so-rare shows continue to surface, if just to provide hope for further demand for some of the rare or lesser known shows. The fact that the Dr. Who Troughton newly found episodes became a big...
Very positive news for B&W TV fans with the new and upcoming releases of Maverick (S2), Sugarfoot (S2) and Bat Masterson (S3) as Lou has mentioned.
David, I can't wait to see "Enemy Of The World" and "The Web Of Fear" which I've pre-ordered. Having watched the trailers on You Tube, the...
Lois Nettleton is a highly underrated actress. I particularly loved her roles in Then Came Bronson, The Interns, The Outsider and the two episodes of Dr. Kildare she guest starred in. I seem to recall Lois was also in an episode of East Side / West side also. Of the shows that you can get...
Search would be up there at the top of my list for short lived shows. Glad you mentioned Then Came Bronson. I have all the episodes from both those shows but would definitely buy it for superior quality prints.
Not absolutely sure if WB's own these but would love to see The Men wheel series...
I've seen a few episodes on 16mm and found it to be a top notch show, like many other westerns of that time. Having said that, I'm not sure if I want to buy edited down syndication prints. Although, I may change my mind if I'm left with no other choice. For instance, I still purchased shows such...
I hope that Tuesday's announcement would make mention of all the Doctor Who episodes supposedly recovered, if only to put an end to all the rumours, hoaxes and endless speculation.
Yes, I would also love to see missing episodes from other lost Beeb shows such as Out Of The Unknown, Paul Temple...
My understanding is that it is a request for a more complete list of unsyndicated or rare U.S. TV shows that have been re-broadcast in England but not in the U.S.
Yes, although I'm not sure if they did a complete run. This was essentially an Australian show but had an American producer in Mende Brown and consisted of American actors playing lead roles. TV Land also rebroadcasted a handful of episodes at one time. The show hasn't aired in Australia since...
I didn't know "The Time Element" was included in the blu-ray set. Just curious, If you have the entire series of TZ on DVD (as I do), is it worth buying the B-R set?
I enjoyed this movie, although I admit it's not up there with my all time favourite TV movies, it has a certain atmosphere and eerie feel to it that keeps you interested all the way through. I would buy this just to get an upgrade in quality.
Would also like to see Archer. This is the series...
Thanks for the info, John. Having got the original MPI sets, I'd be interested in buying this for the new material. Yes, it would be nice to have all the complete shows but sometimes you have to just take what you can get.
Let's not forget the cameos by singers and musicians:
Paul Revere and the Raiders (in "Hizzonner the Penguin")
Lesley Gore
Chad and Jeremy
Johnny and the Greenmen
Liberace
It looks like the Dr. Who rumour has put to bed. Very sad news. :(

Most, if not all the Shindig! shows exist in kinescope form. I wish the same could be said for the 1960's/early 70's Top Of The Pops shows. As for American Bandstand, who knows how much Dick Clark owned? Certainly at least must be a lot more than what has been let out amongst collectors in 16mm...
Looks like I'm not alone here. Oh well. Similar to a recent thread about the U.S. sitcom "The Good Life" with people mixing it up with the British show of the same name. :B)
Gary, I figure you must have some valid reason for your concerns based on some inside information, unless it's just a gut feeling. Either way, here's hoping (in the not too distant future) that there's some positive news on the horizon.

See post #154. I don't think Chertok Television mentioned anything about a complete series in this thread but I know all three seasons are released in Australia by Umbrella Entertainment. Season 3 was scheduled for release in...
