SAE purchased their existing inventory from us to sell as they see fit. While we admire the work they are doing to release great titles, Twilight Time (the label) never had an official relationship with ClassicFlix. CF did have a relationship with Cinemagistics, the 3 person company who ran...
Sorry to report to the Twilight Time faithful that our April Titles "pre-announcement" was in error, as Fox has advised that THE PAPER CHASE (1973) was spoken for elsewhere and our skulls full of mush will not be replaced by lawyerly thoughts. However, we are pleased to substitute a comparably...
According to Sony the Film Detective release is unauthorized - and in any case ours is a 4K restoration of the alternate version which has never been available on home video.
Yet not good enough for the Sony restoration team here who have proclaimed the current transfer unreleasable, hence TT having its release on the back burner.
We might see WILD depending on the state of the transfer - LOVING YOU is coming out on our sister label Redwind Prods - not sure of the schedule on that one - Don't think there is any other Elvis in our future at this time.
Hi Nick - there are no restoration talks with Disney as yet as the deal has not been ratified. Fox execs have been told that will drop between the first and second quarter, 2019. Until then, the Fox restoration team are continuing to work on several titles, but so far STAR! is not one of them...
The titles are indeed all SOLD OUT - which means that our entire run has been SOLD. SAE deals in used material as well as new, so if they have any titles that were previously out of print back in stock, it's because of trades and buybacks.

It is from first quarter this year, but in these short sales that only involve a handful of titles, we like to include one or two popular, recent titles as a thank you for the support.
We have said repeatedly that TT has this title under license, but that we won't release it until a new transfer is done - and as of this moment, that hasn't happened. That is why we have nothing to report.
Hi Ron - thanks for your suggestions - we have been in touch with the gentleman who had the press kit, but we determined there wasn't anything there worth including, but we thanked him for his support. We are carrying over all the features from the DVD, and are working on a new commentary track...
It is right here on this very site - it's a sticky thread at the top of the page which lists every TT title released and all those that have sold out.
