I had a store clerk at an electronics outlet once tell me that I wasn't going to get the full 1080p signal from cheaper HDMI cable. I might get 720p I think he said. Only with the $150 Monster cables would I get the full signal, the full 1080p. Anyways, thinking the guy was bullshitting me...

I have a samsung BD6500 with the latest firmware and, like everyone says here, watching Inception was difficult. Aside from trying to figure out what the hell was going on with the plot, there were several minor freezes and a/v synch issues. Sometimes pausing the movie corrected the a/v problem.
