Studio Canal does not own North American rights to Belle de jour and Criterion confirmed that it is coming already more than a year ago. Pierrot le fou is still out of print.
What's your point? Studio Canal acquired Optimum already in 2006 and Kinowelt in 2008. The titles you mentioned are regular Blu-ray releases, not Studio Canal Collection editions.

It was not "most requested titles" poll, it was just an opportunity to let customers choose between five titles. Other options were Down by Law, Kwaidan, Au revoir les enfants and Howards End, which eventually won the poll.
