I don't feel like this is a frame rate issue at all. The problem is clearly in the Netflix source, and it happens on every device. In fact, I just tried to stream "Cronos" to my work PC (which has a high-speed connection) and the "judder" is still there. I've watched many films that were shot...
Edward, I'm curious as to how you like the player. Once I save up, I think I'm getting an Oppo, I just want to make sure the new players are as good as I hear. Thanks in advance!
I don't have experience with the Panasonic players, but I think they access Netflix through Viera Cast. I would try going into the Viera Cast settings and changing the Netflix log-in info. You can always call Panasonic or Netflix and have them walk you through the process. The activation code...
I experienced the same problem with "Cronos", both on my Samsung BD-C6500 and on my Wii. I also noticed it during certain shots of "The X-Files: Season 1". I think the problem is on Netflix's end, and I hope they fix it soon. I was really looking forward to "Cronos", but it's unwatchable in...
I have played the disc on an Integra DBS-30.1 player, and it plays flawlessly. I have little doubt now that my player is the culprit. Hopefully the next firmware update will fix it, whenever that is...
You may be right. The player is up to date as I speak. I'm going to try the disc on a different player to see if the same thing happens.
You would think with all the storage space on a blu-ray, they would have a file on the disc. Oh well. :-) ISSUE UPDATE: While watching the movie...
DWP0809 - I bought mine at Target in Clovis, CA. I did exchange the disc, but the exact same issue happens. I want to try it on a different player, I'm wondering if mine is being affected by the Extraction Mode branching queues. I also tried different sound modes on my surround receiver, and...
I'm using the Samsung BD-C6500. I must say, I'm not real fond of the player. It's slow and freezes at times. It gets the job done, but I don't think I would ever buy one again. I may look at an Oppo in the future.
I just picked up the Inception blu-ray (it looks fantastic, by the way), but an odd thing happens and I want to see if anyone else is experiencing this. During the beginning of the film when the dream begins to collapse, there is a noticeable micro-second "skip", almost like DVDs used to do...
