Kinect seems like it may be pretty cool but I'm not a fan of the new slimmer 360! The old 360s had such a high failure rate due to heat that making the system even smaller seem to be stupid! The airflow insdie the original sized 360s was very limited casuing so many failures, and shirling the...
I really don't see the need for 7.1, especailly in my room (14'x18', 7.5' ceiling basement), 5.1 is more then enough. Most of the better receivers out there now are 7.1. Can I run 5.1 set-up with a 7.1 receiver? Most the todays BRs, DVDS, and xbox/ps3 games are done in 5.1 not 7.1 anyhow.
Do the Panasonic S-class plasmas have the issues that the G's have? I was told that once properly calibrated the difference between a S and G class is very minimal.
I'm slowly converting over to HD. Within the last year I changed from standard definition DirecTv to AT&T U-VERSE with HD. My current TV is a Panny 53" widescreen 1080i/480p rear projection. I have a pretty large collection of DVDS and there are some new ones that I want to buy BUT...we're...
I too am thinking about getting a theater in a box but I'd want a better sub. Are these in-a-box set-ups able to have the subs upgraded to a self powered stronger unit?
This is amazing...I still am old school. I have a 1080i/480p Panny RPTV and use my Xbox 360 for DVDS. I have my 360 connected using component cables and my AT&T U-verse box connected the same way. I have a Harmon Kardon receiver and just a cheap pair of tower speaker run in stereo mode...lol...
I badly want to new 1080P TV for my basement and I have the wife wanting a new TV too! My father-in-law keeps telling my wife that LCD is the way to go, DO NOT GET A PLASMA! Now, we watch HD TV-programming and my son and I play A LOT of XBOX 360 in the basement. I will be buying a blueray player...
So are you saying I shouldn't be concerned or try to fix this? I figured there was an adjustment inside to raise the projected image up a bit but I guess theres more involved. This is a rear projection tv and to me it seemed as if the angle of the projection wasn't high enough but maybe that...
I have a Panasonic 53" widesreen 1080i/480p rear projection tv and it seems like wheile playing certain xbox 360 games...the bottom of the screen is cutoff. An example, while playing UFC 2010 Undisputed, the health bars are located at the bottom of the screen, but you can't read them because the...
