your audio setup would definitely work. An alternative( probably not better, but just an idea), you could use the same adapter to hook up to the axillary port on the speakers and put that into the Mic port on the computer and use your computer to control the volume, but like i said, probably not...

Thank you for your replies. I had no idea you would actually have to turn the sub on in the amp configuration, i will look up how to do that to see if thats the problem. And to Anderson, ill try your way as well to see if that gives me my full signal.
