True. But DCEU has officially been replaced by DCU. And while they are DC properties, the are not part of the ongoing DCU that Gunn is shepherding. They are ElseWorlds stories.
Both also had good 3D. DCEU movies didn't start bombing until they dropped 3D, unlike Marvel. Makes it appear they are lesser films than MCU and that the studio has zero faith in the movies. If Aquaman 2 isnt in 3D, ill bet it bombs too. If it is...50/50.
RSM has been releasing some Universal titles, including JW Dominion. Im fine with studios licensing 3D to other distributors. Hoping for Jaws 3D from them. They annnounced Minions, The Bad Guys, and Sing 2 on 3D discs as well.
That's how I first saw it. Twice, because my gf at the time wanted to see it again. Had the laserdisc and dvd. The movie was SUPER-BIG on cable through the 80s-90s.
While I don't have it anymore, I recall the laserdisc of ROMAN EMPIRE having a beautiful transfer. Even with newer tech, hard to imagine it being worse.
If you like movies like The Silence, then you'll like a big budget take. Yeah, Tomorrow War borrows from other films. The Silence borrowed from Quiet Place. Having enjoyed all three, this is a great creature-feature
Until very recently, the Shout set was $104. The extra $24 bucks gets a 4K scan for Part 5, Part 3 in 3D, and tons of new extras. I'm not a big fan of the series but I might even pick it up myself if it goes down again
Why would anyone buy this over Shout's release? On that set, the first FIVE (not four) films (including 3D) have 4k remasters. Plus new commentaries & other fresh extras.
