I'd like to see Warner Archive release THE BEST OF TIMES. It was a unsold pilot that aired on CBS in 1983. I assume they have some unaired episodes in their vaults, but it would make my day.
As I said, I already have all 48 films from a collector, whose name I will not mention on here. The homemade set is all in chronological order, but I'm going to buy volumes 1-3 and eventually 4 when it comes out and I'll trade the other set for something else.
I would go for a Blu-Ray double feature of MADHOUSE and CLIFFORD. Both titles were released in remastered widescreen transfers on a double-feature disc by Amazon/MGM.
Sony no longer has the rights to Night of The Juggler. The movie is now owned by a new copyright holder that's preventing it to be released on DVD, for unknown reasons. I would like Sony to release more of the Columbia comedy shorts. We already got the Stooges, Buster Keaton, and now, Charley Chase.
I need to get the first two volumes of them, even though I already have all 48 features that I got from a friend of mine whose name I will not mention on here for privacy reasons. I can't believe how many people complained about the quality on some of them from volume one. They have to...
Speaking of "The Hot Scots", I noticed there were some audio in it that was fixed up for the DVD. In the fight scene where the actor's voices are sped up and different sound effects when Shemp knocks out the bad guys. Maybe it was originally like that.
I sort of know that even though the version is the R-rated version, Anchor Bay has said that it's the most complete version. I bought it on DVD Empire so I'll see it for myself.
Unfortunately, I heard that NBC Universal will not be releasing the rest of the seasons for a while because of music rights to the musical performances. I heard that's they're still releasing the "Best of" volumes for the time being.
I own the HBO DVD and the new "SE" version. The HBO DVD is in a non-animorphic 1.78:1 widescreen transfer. It seems it has better colors than the new DVD since the color seems to be washed out. I'm suprised the Paramount logos appeared on the Sony DVD, it even includes the MPAA rating card at...
Murray actually hosted March 7th. If you watched the goodnights segment on that episode, look closely as Bill Murray shakes ONLY Eddie's hand and avoids contact with all the the other cast members. As the credits rolled, he apologized to his old castmates by saying "I'm sorry for what I've...
I saw a one hour edited version of the Pee Wee Herman episode on E! in early 2005. I was surprised to see it since they rarely showed the '80s episodes.
