Just got it yesterday. Looks good but disappointing. Lacking in detail and sharpness and the color is not as vibrant as it should be and just a tad faded. The stereo track is fantastic though

I've read a review of the French blu-ray DVD of Open Range in which the review stated that the DVD was all region. But in other listing for the DVD it states that it's Region B. Does anyone know definitively if the French Blu-ray is all region or not? I'm forced to hold off getting it...

O.K. for once and for all do regular DVDs look better on a Blu-ray player? I've gotten mixed messages. I've been told that they do, but also that that's not always the case. In some instances they look worse. So what's the definite answer?
