Indeed, mixing too many unrelated stuff is not a good thing. Eating salad, desert and the main course at the same time is not going to taste good.
Thank you. How many has it been? 2, 3? I wouldn't worry if someone posted only 2-3 posts.
I didn't like this very much. Too disjointed. Mixing scenes from different times where they have their own specific feelings and emotions doesn't work. Overall no sense of wonder, bad use of effects and many other things. 6/10.
Finally saw this. Not good. They went way over their head with the story. Couldn't follow, couldn't understand the logic.
The AI idea was interesting but that needed a serious proper sci-fi drama to explore it. You don't infuse an action movie like MI with heavy stories.
And that top spy...
I saw this for the second time. I had difficulty following the logic of the movie. I think it got worse on the second viewing. This is definitively my least favorite of the Indy films.
Jake, the name of the movie is Mean Girls and not Mean Girls Musical. Please don't re-change the title of the thread which is the official name of the movie + year.
I learned something today about Kelsey Grammer that completely shocked me! The series is not that great either and I will probably stop watching sooner than later.
4x01 Glasnost
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed and was surprised by how they changed the story. It's like a 180 turn. No one would have imagined, not me.
Instead of the same thing we had for the first three seasons, bleak and confrontational super powers (which is closer to reality), I like...
Yes I know he is Niles' son. There is a lazy writing at the beginning, Frasier's friend asks him if his nephew, Niles and Daphne's son is coming. Sounded very forced. Of course Frasier knows his nephew is Niles and Daphne's son! The better writing would have been Frasier introducing him as "this...
The revival show that felt completely flat to me was That '90s Show. I can't believe how bad and unfunny it is.
This has the DNA of Frasier and things are not completely flat. For example Frasier learning a secret and instead of telling them directly he knows (which would not be that funny), he...
They do talk about her fast in a joke, I didn't understand it. Probably she dumped him.
Also, how many kids Frasier has? Is this kid the same as the one who went through a Gothic phase?
They do talk about him right from the start and extensively. But I can't explain it. You have to see it for yourself. The thing I didn't quite get from episode 1 was what happened to Laura Linney's character.
3x03 White Noise
Absolutely amazing episode. The best so far. Makes you think a lot and at the end, I'm not sure who was the "bad guy". But Cory is a manipulative SOB if I may! :)
The thing I really liked was when after Thrawn shows up, the 2 main villains of the show are showed as completely insignificant.
Which also brings up the question, why show those 2 searching for Thrawn, where he clearly doesn't care about them and he seems more organized and has more manpower...
This was so bad. I didn't get scared even for a second.
Question, are these movies in a different universe than the Conjuring, Annabelle and those other movies?
