Just to add few more lines. I would be using the system for watching movies and sports channels, I am not very much into listening music, for that I prefer to use headphones only.

From your replies it appears as HDMI output from Blu-Ray should go to A/V reciever and from A/V reciever HDMI output it should be then feeded to TV...
