so get a 5 from SVS and i already have two Jamo E680 speakers which i can set up for my fronts...so from the 5, i can use 4 for surround, and 1 for center along with my two Jamo E680's but then i'd have to get a sub too :-/

how are those definitive technology speakers? by the way, since you said you're not a fan of buying packages, then what would you recommend, i want a 7.1 set up which speakers would you recommend for Front L+R+C and what would you recommend for all 4 surround?

yep thats where i found them, i thought that they were pretty good since they were like 102dB and had a max watt of 300w, i didnt know that they used to come with a subwoofer, but im paying 300 for all 6 of those speakers, not just for the two SM-155, is it still a bad deal? im just clueless at...

yea i dont know much in audio equip. but i would like to know what is the difference between DTR and DTC/DHC, one is amp/preamp, but what does it mean? whats the difference? dont the DTR and DTC/DHC work the same? whats the need for the amp/preamp?

yep that was my understanding as well i was thinking of either the 7.8 or the 9.9 but i think the 9.9 is too expensive, so i was thinking of the 7.8 because i can get it for a good price

Lol thanks alot :) Well i already got 2 Jamo E680 speakers, both for $150, in black, so my 9100 is coming in tomorrow so we'll see how everything goes :) now have to get a nice Jamo center speaker and i should be set and hopefully get that warm fuzzy feeling that you're talking about haha :)
