    NAD CI9120 12-channel amplifier

Looking to sell a NAD CI9120 12-channel amplifier as the title states. The was used in a large home theater setup in my Mom's house to run a multi-room speaker setup. She moved and I took this out of a 100% working setup and have stored in safely since. I have no need for it with my current...

Setting Up New Receiver with Old Speakers and Subwoofer

Don't the speakers plug into the SUB with normal speaker wire? If so you could plug them into whatever. You system seems a little outdated for what you want. Around the holidays you can get great deals on HT systems...

Can I use my Laptop as my Blu-ray player?

I'd get a stand alone Blu-Ray player. Laptop drive would be subject to wear and tear form the heat of the laptop as well as not being designed for constant 1-3 hour use.

Volume at 0db - +12db not very loud at all

OK thanks, kinda figured the amp may be overkill for my simpler setup. I know in it's previous setup it did not get its input from this reciever, I wonder what was feeding it. One of the crestron pieces I suppose. I sent you a PM.

Volume at 0db - +12db not very loud at all

Sorry guess I was a little vague. I don't have any meters, and the knob on the amp for that channel was already turned up. I thinkTte volume range on the receiver is form -60dm - +12. What I mean by "Not very loud" is that I can turn it to max, +12db, and I won't be waking any babies up. I just...

Volume at 0db - +12db not very loud at all

Question: Why isn't the volume very loud when I turn it up to 0db and beyond? So this will be my first post of many trying to get the grab bag of HT goodies I just picked up working. More to the story later bt cliff notes: Mom losing house, had crazy HT, we gutted it, I'm now piecing together...
